congratulations non australian director
Guarantee it was entered without its to air "bundy bear" ending.
Director's cut, no subtitles either.
Lynchy Let's sort this 'discussion' out now. Contact Kinsale and find out whether the bear was there or not
What's wrong with having the director's cut for award entries? As long as it went to air, surely that's fair game.Who here wouldn't have entered a good cut and not the compromised cut? Or who hasn't entered a slightly doctored version?
And man, that bear ending is a stinker. He should have at least told them to bugger off and leave it at that.
The bear at the end with the Holden V/O artist gave me the shits. Plus it was and extra day in the studo for some poor bugger in a bear suit.
A big and very worthy question 8.12.
I want to hear this radio spot.
The radio spot is now embedded at the end of this post.
Well, in juries I've sat on, the very sniff of a director's cut or slight 'award edit' instantly makes the entry invalid.
That radio ad is genius.
Personally I have never written a good radio ad so I am always in awe of people who can do it properly.
Nice work to the guys at Leos.
Agree. Radio spot is very funny.
hey lynchy, has kinsale confirmed any bear
sightings yet?
The radio spot would've been up shit creek if the WWWF guy was like most people and either told the caller to fuck off or just didn't get it.
9.10,you are an idiot.
They got very lucky with the call centre dude. He was hillarious. Very funny.
Well done Kate! We all love ya.
Love the radio spot. Definate contender for Cannes next year.
Honestly, the radio spot feels set up to me.
