Marketforce Perth’s ‘Stopping Distance’ AdShel for the WA Office of Road Safety has won Best of Year for 2005 in the Outdoor Media Associations’ ONE Awards.
‘Stopping Distance was one of 19 finalists and the only one from WA in the national competition.
Some of the judges’ comments when it was selected as a finalist in the third quarter of the competition were: "It's a great use of the bus shelter's physical attributes"; "The fusion of the message and medium is brilliant"; "The point is really reinforced to motorists when they see people sitting in the bus shelter"; "This demonstrated impact is unique to outdoor."
Besides a trophy, Marketforce receives a $10,000 cash prize and the ORS receives $500,000 worth of outdoor media.
