CARLTON DRAUGHT CELEBRATE GAFFS OF FOOTY COMMENTATORS

Jake: Welcome back folks to another exciting season of footy sponsorship and this year is going to be a cracker. We’ve already seen the other teams sponsorship ideas, now let’s look at their competition.
The Skull: That’s right Jake, when you look at Carlton Draught backing up from a cracking couple of season’s, you’re sure to expect the unexpected. They are currently the reigning number 1 tap beer in Australia and are sure to asert their positon this year.
Jake: Carlton Draught has been a long time sponsor of the AFL but in a first for Carlton Draught they’ll be sponsoring both the AFL and the NRL at the same time on Friday night, simultaneously.
Skull: I’ve never agreed more and I’m about to start now.
Jake: Well let’s look at the game plan. In a bold move, it seems Carlton Draught have decided to own Friday Night Football, by celebrating all the funny and classic remarks made by footy commentators. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Skull: It’s true Jake. Even when my lips are sealed, I know I’ve put my foot in my mouth.
Jake: Let’s quickly check out the team. In the forwards there’s Tom Cooper up front in GAD, behind him is Dan Beaumont as Senior Account Manager, and finally Bonnie Swinson and Tara Herfort complete the Accounts.
Skull: In the Backs, Ben Coulson at CD has been directing the play well all season with a stellar last year, we are sure to see some special moves. The Writer and Art Director, Peter Hibberd and Julian Schreiber. This will be Julian’s last performance for George Patts Melbourne, and he’s going to be a great player for the Clems team this year. Completing the team was Karen Quinn at art buyer and Matt Hoyle as photographer/retoucher.
Jake: I’m telling you Skull, it’s going to be so big, it’ll be huge.

Nice. Like it. Bernie McCahill, a very boring inside centre for the All Blacks in the early 90s, as a commentator once said, "IT CERTAINLY LOOKS A LOT SLOWER ON THE SLOW MOTION REPLAY".

"It's like déjà vu all over again." - actually a quote by baseball great Yogi Berra, said in reference to home runs by Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle, who often hit homers.

Great photography. But feels like completely borrowed interest.

not as borrowed as flashbeer; at least it's relevant to the footy.

For very Australian sports and beer, it's a shame it looks so American.
