MEGNA & BRIGGS MOVE TO CHE
Long standing creative team Dom Megna and Rogan Briggs join CHE, Melbourne early next month.
The pair, most recently at Badjar and previous to that Grey, bring with consumer and retail experience on clients such as McCain Foods, SPC Ardmona, Foster's Wine Estates and awarding winning work for the TAC and Mitre 10.
Says CHE executive creative director, Jason Ross: “Both are exceptionally talented. Their award winning TAC campaign ‘Only a Little Bit Over’ and McCain’s ‘He’s a Fryer’ spots are brilliant. These guys are a great addition to the team and help us continue to build one of the strongest creative departments around,” said Ross.

Well done you blokes. Pot and parma before you bugger off?
"help us continue to build one of the strongest creative departments around"
Is that guy serious???
Good job for the boys, they'll obviously be paid well, but come on...
well done guys now that you in the money how about shouting Gabbo a drink.
later
Gabbo
Good move Dom & Rogen, CHE is better than Badjarse. Good to see two decent blokes doing well.
Fellow award school student 2000.
Another solid team without the Rock-Star attitude moving up and going places. And good blokes to match, too. Congratulations lads. You deserve it.
If CHE have 'one of the strongest creative departments around' why are they doing the shittiest advertising in Australia?
Why hasn't Lynchy chimed in with his positioning of CHE in the rankings earlier this year.
From memory, they were bottom left.
Just left of centre and a lot further up, actually. 'The biggest and best of the Blue Zone shops' would be my spin if I were doing the PR for CHE. Hopefuly, Jason Ross and his team - including Dom and Rogan - can do a few things this year that get them into the Red Zone next year.
From BADjar to worse.
Anonymous sniping on an internet blog. Nice.
Happy birthday for yesterday Dom. Hip hip
9.35:
Anonymous stating of the bleeding obvious.
lynchy - who are the top 10 agencies in the red zone at the moment?
Buy the magazine you tight wad.
Nice teeth
Is it just me or does badjar have a kick arse client list and virtually no good work coming out the other end? What goes on inside that shop? Anyone?
They won some awards a few years back, and then flatlined again. Kind of like CHE.
Describing the 'he's a fryer' spot (which I presume to be the one Dogboy did) as brilliant should probably be disclaimed by saying it is brilliant compared to all the other ads McCain do. Barely OK would be another way to describe it. I agree with 2.51, other than the Warick Capper (and other celebs) campaign a while back, what on earth do badger doing with their client list?
These boys have probably done well to leave. They're certainly moving to bigger, Just not such if it's better.
Didn't Badjar do that horrid BWM ad thats on currently?
I remember there was a lady called there who had lots of pigs on her desk.
An ad for BWM? Isn't that the name of another ad agency?
And a lady called there?
Lay off the aerosols, 9:05.
I remember there was a pig there who had lots of ladies on her desk.
I remember when Mars Bars only cost 80 cents and Movies had intervals so you could have a toilet break.
Well you're old then. Get the fuck out of Advertising oldie. You smell like moth balls.
Bloody old people, you can't take them anywhere.
I fart wherever I want and people feel sorry for me.
There's a sign on the bus that says you have to get up for me.
Hey 3.30pm,
Fuck you, I'm only 30 and smell great.
Yours, 2.47pm
OLD.
You. Sponge bath. Now.
So are there lots of pigs at badjar?
Well there's your answer y they're not doing any great work, how can a pig come up with ideas? They're trotters can't even hold the pen, nor can they speak english. Fire the pigs I say. They're just not working for you.
The lack of wit displayed the previous poster is exceeded only by their illiteracy.
If that's the best you can do mate, go back to your job as a car park attendant.
Next please.
Would that be "the lack of wit displayed BY the previous poster" or were you just being hilariously ironic Oh Master of Literacy?
Now stop trying to deflect and go write a great ad.
A good one will do for starters.
Oh my my my. This is going in all the wrong directions.
I'm 2.51 from the other day.
I just wanted to know about badjar and what appears to me to be a very lacking body of work on a pretty healthy client list.
I don't care for pigs or any other four legged animals for that matter. I wasn't slagging off, just wondering how a reasonable sized agency with that list can produce so little of note.
Ask Josh Robbins, he used to work there. So did Paul Taylor. All the good people realise they're good and leave. If they're lucky, they leave with a good MINI ad in their book.
Personally I hate the A Little Bit Over direction. The TAC 'shock' approach is desp out of date. No one is listening. Broom needed.
