CREATING A SMALLER FOOTPRINT ON THE ENVIRONMENT



On Sunday EnergyAustralia will launch a new campaign via Leo Burnett, Sydney with an environmental message. Created by creative trio: Kate Burt, Kieran Ots and Nils Eberhardt and shot by Steve Ayson of The Sweet Shop, the spot tell the story of a giant who gets smaller the more energy efficient he becomes, therefore reducing the size of his footprint on the environment.

At first I didn't get that he was getting smaller but it becomes obvious later on, so it's intriguing.

Loving the weird neighbour.

A simple, single minded, nice idea, plus a modern day fable for what we all should be doing.
Great to see EA still doing their quirky big brand stuff – a lot of personality for a utilities company. I can see the giant idea going gangbusters for them.
