BMF SELLS FOR $25m +

The Photon Group has bought 100 percent of BMF Sydney in a deal worth over $25m, with further payments to BMF partners Warren Brown (pictured) and Matthew Melhuish based on the agency's performance over the next three years, the end of their contracted period.
BMF joins BWM Sydney as the main ad agencies in the group. Photon acquired 51% of BWM mid last year.

More people should start their own agency and throw it on the line. I am a big fan of the Browns' and the Cummins' who have the balls to do it. You start a business to build something to sell. And along the way if you can create a legacy of good work..then you've done ok. Some BMF creative has been all feathers and no meat. And some has been all meat (and livestock). And very good meat at that.
Does this make cummins&partners the largest independent agency in Australia? Methinks so.
