IdeaWorks, Sydney has produced its first major campaign for Hyundai since winning the retail portion of the automotive account in March.
The new
  • TV commercial
  • , which has just gone to air, introduces a new retail positioning for the brand based on the idea that Hyundai is Australia‚Äôs most generous car company.
    The campaign features a presenter and a wandering busker, lamenting the lack of generosity in the world before discovering that generosity is alive and well at your local Hyundai dealer.
    Television will be supported by a major print and point of sale campaign through the May and June Mid Year Sale period.

    Oh well...at least it's got an idea. Not bad for retail I guess. And best car dealer stuff out there by far. That doesn't make it great, but ok with a high degree of difficulty.

    Simply a retail ad with half an idea - which is more than can be said for most retail ads.

    will sell sell Hyundai's? - doubt it
    was it worth putting on the blog? - doubt it
