TWO BRONZE FOR AUSTRALIA AT THE ONE SHOW
In a disappointing performance, Australia only scored two Bronze Pencils at The One Show, one for DDB Sydney's NAPCAN 'Children See, Children Do' spot, the other in The One Show Interactive Awards, for Leo Burnett Sydney's work on WWF.
In contrast, New Zealand performed well, lead by TBWA\Whybin, Auckland with a Silver and two Bronze Pencils and Publicis Mojo Auckland with a Silver and Bronze.

Probably fair comment. Do we really think we deserve more? Children See, Children Do is a very powerful piece of work, deserving of recognition. Haven't seen the other one.
If Simon and Charlie Crook don't pick up a lion in a month, I'll buy everybody at the Gutter Bar a bottle of Champagne. If they do win, everybody there will have to buy me one. Deal?
I'm not surprised at all. Normal Australia-is-crap-at-ads-status has been resumed.
Despite the probable success of the Napcan spot,i heard that despite 4 of DDB Sydneys senior staffers going to Cannes... 1st Class.....Charlie and Simon were told they couldn't go.
Who gives a flying fuck what class they fly, if it stops one kid from getting bashed it's worth it,
JC
Well said that man...
