He is now. Why would you want to win this comp if you are not a Junior? Doesn't do much for your career.
Its also cheating isn't it?

True. This off the website:

Who is eligible to apply?
Junior copywriters and art directors from advertising agencies around the world.

Do I have to be working at an agency?
To be eligible to participate you must have full-time employment status as a junior art director or copywriter in an ad agency. Unfortunately, interns, freelancers, and students are not allowed to apply.

shit, that is a dangerous move after reading the supplied criteria for entering....
as it is for juniors, the only justified result could be approaches from agencies wanting to pay a junior wage and/or a placement arrangement.
it could be a clever way to get into a top international agency though, but it does mean sacrificing in the short-term.
good luck though Robbie!!! ignore the haters.
Clios are supported by some of the best agencies in the US, ie. Crispin, Fallon etc. so hope it all goes well for you.

Well, in my opinion juniors are the hardest people to beat. they aren't tired or cynical. they haven't completely eaten their souls so are quite fresh still.

unlike me. I am on a one way trip to hell for selling cheeseburgers and dud investments and poisonous ink for printers.
