AUSSIE AND KIWI CREATIVE ELITE AWAIT DECISION ON CANNES JURIES WITH BATED BREATH

A decision is close on who will represent Australia and New Zealand on the various Cannes juries this year. While the exclusive Titanium Lions jury has been locked in (BMF Sydney's Warren Brown is on the 10 person jury) Australians will be chosen for the Film, Press, Radio, Direct, Cyber, Promo and Media (eight Cannes jurors is the best ever for Australia) while NZ has been allocated three spots: Film, Media and Direct. A decision is expected sometime this week according to Cannes Lions executive chairman, Terry Savage (above), who is now based half the year in Sydney. Savage says it’s all pretty well decided but he has to make sure there are no conflicts (ie: there can only be one agency creative per agency network on the same jury). The official announcement will probably come via Fairfax, Australia and New Zealand’s Cannes representatives. The unofficial one will hopefully leak out a day or two prior on the CB Blog.
