anyone else having a hard time watching these spots?
i keep getting a message from the link 'the playlist format is not recognized'.
(i'm on an apple using safari.)
no trouble with playing through windows.
I'm a fan of the Berri spot - uniquely funny in my mind.
As for the Hitsorcist - I'm sure the teeny bopper segment of fox's target audience/audience will love this spot. But it irks me to no end. It makes me want to do some hitsorcising of my own.
Lynchy! the 2 paragraphs giving the info on the said two ads have been interspliced. you might want to fire your editor... ;)
Love the Berri ad. Well done.
Anymore trumpet to be seen? I think it's a great ad. The observational humour shits all over Jerry Seinfeld and his bagels.
cant see the ad either
I go through media player through safari on a mac and it works fine have you got media player or have you tried to download it and see if you can play the ads?
there are five trumpet ads. they're all good.
Hitsorcist could have been so good....the ball was dropped somewhere there...
After so much debate on this blog about ads borrowing interest from other sources, it's amusing to see the Trumpet ad. It's a direct lift from a Tropfest film from a couple of years back. Not that there's anything wrong with that, in fact it probably helped sell the spot in to a nervous client. I'm sure the large pack shot in the opening frame helped immeasurably too.
That 42 Below ad is fuckin' gay
I think the 42 below ad lacks the charm and whit of the original that has been around for years:

Yeah, you've got to admit it's a pretty smart take for a viral - albeit pretty gay. But the kid who brought us "everything is gay" certainly did a better job of kicking open the closet doors. Anyone that sings "orange juice raped my father, so that makes him gaaaay!" has got some serious issues.
Darryl Parsons is gay.
being gay is gay.
That 'kid' is actually a 32 year old American comedian with a hormone disorder that makes him look pre-pubescant (did I spell that right?)
Anyway, yeah.... he also does a rap which is fuckin' hilarious.... here it is:

Not being gay is gay too.
yeah, its spelt prepubescent. So you must be gay too.
funny that. pre pube scent. As in before smelly pubes...
i digress.
I think the trumpet ad's topnotch. Well done you Perth lads.
You stupid juniors wouldn't have a clue.'
Buy a house, losers.
boy, that Austereo ad is crap. really, really crap.
