It's okay concept-wise, but I like a bit of chest hair. I once lived in the building in the background. Above Barzura.

    Pretty funny.

Good to see the Yanks re-united with Olympus. I think I smell lions in the future for jWT. Yes, I used lions and JWT in the same sentence. If anyone can do it, those fuckers can.

Good work fellas. Looks like you're already on a roll.

The world's smallest digital SLR camera? What an opportunity!

Imagine what the Thais would've done.

Made me laugh. It feels very Saatchi. I wounder why that is?

    9.53

    You gotta be joking.

    That is for OLYMPUS?

The ad lacks tone of voice, humour and idea.

And from what we can make out it has a decent proposition....smallest camera.

    What a hopeless solution.

It is not very good at all.

    For Olympus it is terrible.

    Hang your heads low.

If you think that is funny 9.53 perhaps you should get a job at JWT, then again if you think it's funny perhaps you already work there.

Would have been soooo much better if that bimbo didn't speak. The way she was reacting was like the dude was flashing them. That part completely ruined it. What a shame. Otherwise, quite nice I guess. I'm sick of seeing dumb meat head blokes trying to "protect" their CHICKS. Too predictable.

Lame? Are you guys watching the same ad? I thought it was funny. Just my 2c.

A small camera with an equally small idea. Not a patch on their previous print work.

Pretty topical isn't it - the whole issue of pervs/cameras at the beach.

Would be better if it was actually released for summer though.

It's funny but I don't buy the story. If the guy has been busted perving, and the girls have seen him then he's gonna have to face the music. That another bloke who is not even nearby would get mistaken as the pervert lacks believability as the gals would just say 'no not him - HIM!'.

The sequence of events just doesn't fit 100%. Sorry.

But I'm sure there's loads of creatives who don't really mind too much about things making sense and would think I'm nit-picking.

Sure beat looking at that horrible shite that EURO put up a couple of days ago. I'm still in shock from that.

Doesn't really work does it? Besides, the camera looks bloody huge to me.

It is a real ad for a real client. One that the client probably asked and paid for. That puts it in the top eschelon of all the crap on tv that we all sadly produce.

I heard on the grapevine that the new team at JWT were good.

Well, that's some woefull crafting of a weak idea for what has been a pretty consistently strong brand.

    What's the deal team?

    Defend yourselves.

I meet the guys for the first time today and all I can say is they are the real deal. You would be hard pressed to find two more passionate creatives in the business. Even if they are Yanks. Keep up the good work.

it's what you'd expect from JWT, and looks like it was done by the same crew directors as those awful Kellogg's ads they did. I dunno... I really want JWT to do some good work, but I'm just not seeing it happening fellas, i just can't see it. World's smallest SLR digi deems like a dream brief, and we all know Olympus buys good work, so what happened?

With a stack of mandatories, 2 days to come up with an idea and a week to produce this ad we happily stand behind the result.

oh Andy, You can't run disclaimers! Not a bad ad. But with a brief like that ...... could have been better. And I agree: the camera doesn't look that small actually...

If it's the smallest camera, the birds shouldn't have been able to see it.

    Andy, sorry....complete crap.
Next time use a director who knows what comedy is about.

I agree with 3.24....nobody cares about what you went through to get the ad on air,its the end result that we see and that we judge. Their are no points for degree of difficulty. With that in mind i have to concur with majority of bloggers and say that i find the spot disappointingly dull.

    4:27 PM

It's not dull at all. I watch mouth agape at its hammy performances. I'm fixated by its ill conceived concept. It even lingers with me as i ponder how it ever came into being.

Great job bloggers. Well done. By crucifying every piece of work that gets up here and personally attacking its creators you are really pushing all of us to try harder and be better. Thank you very much for your support. It really is an invaluable contribution to creativity in this country.

People on this blog sound pretty mental at times. It's an okay spot. Not worth talking about too much but not rubbish by any means. Ease up.

Not good for the brand. Does a category job.
Sorry, I don't judge on subjectivity. It is just NOT GOOD ADVERTISING.
