OUR LYNX JET GIRLS BANNED IN NZ
Bloody hell, Lowe Hunt, Sydney's Lynx Jet commercial - part of the brilliant multi-media campaign which CB believes is destined for multiple award success this year around the world - has been banned in New Zealand, according to this report just in from Heidi at NZ Creative Circle (www.nzcreativecircle.blogspot.com):
Tragic news, bloogers : The Lynx Mile High Club work from Lowes somewhere overseas somewhere featuring Brazillian models has been ruled offensive and axed by the Ad Standards Complaints Authority.
This is after complaints from unspecified womens' groups.
Apparently the Lynx commercials exploit and degrade women and are likely to cause serious offense.
I personally see nothing wrong with a short skirt and a little Wonderbra and this I this is why I had a couple of bit parts in 5th Element.
Clearly these people, they have not seen how people are dressing for work these days. At agencies, anyhow.

Oh NZ please grow up
Shit boring ads anyway.
same shit different day with this campaign.
END IT NOW PLEASE....
I love this stuff. It's about time we saw an idea that works across all mediums. This standard of advertising has long been overdue.
And the kiwis are just thck anyway.
^ someone's trying to defend their ordinary work.
This campaigns 15 seconds of fame are long over...
Don't forget the apostrophe, 11:08. And as far as this campaign's 15 seconds of fame, I suspect you haven't heard the last of the Lynx Jet girls, at least as far as the award shows are concerned.
Fuck award shows. Just entertain me with something better than a 14yo boy could conjure up.
That's who it's aimed at for fuck's sake.
If that's so, why use talent who look like they're in their 30's?
Because 14 year old boys want to be grown up and root girls. Derrrr...
Nah, it doesn't work, 14yo boys don't identify with 30yo dorks. They're more savvy than that.
because showing air hostesses rubbing themselves over 14 year old people's bodies is illegal.
