CANNES LIONS 2007 OPEN FOR ENTRIES


Entrant companies can now submit work for the 54th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in all categories - Film, Press, Outdoor, Direct, Media, Cyber, Radio, Promo, Titanium and Integrated Lions.
Entry forms can be completed online at www.canneslions.com from today.

All shortlisted and winning entries from companies wholly or majority owned by a network will be taken into account for the new Network of the Year award.

It's in the rules -

"All entries must have been screened for the first time between 1 March 2006 and 30 April 2007. Entries cannot be cancelled or removed from the Festival in any way AFTER 4 May 2007."

It costs $1,672 at current exchange rate to enter Titanium Lions.

No wonder they've created a new award for best network.

Start ups and small agencyies would surely struggle to justify that kind of money to their accountant.
