DDB STAFFERS INFORMED OF MATT EASTWOOD APPOINTMENT

Well, it seems that it is now official, at least internally. CB hears the announcement of Matt Eastwood's appointment as national creative director and vice chairman DDB Australia was made to DDB staff last night. Being Saturday, neither DDB management nor Eastwood could be contacted for comments. For Eastwood, who is still in New York, it will be a return to DDB where he previously worked for three years in his mid twenties after starting his career in Perth. He is expected to commence work in early March.
