SEARLE TO REPRESENT OZ ON THE ONE SHOW JURY

Clemenger BBDO Sydney deputy chairman and national ECD Danny Searle has been picked to represent Australia on the prestigious The One Show jury. Australia is one of only 10 countries outside the USA to be represented, indicative of our stature in world advertising in recent years. Searle is only the second Australan ever to judge The One Show, following in the footsteps of Saatchi & Saatchi Australia ECD David 'Nobby' Nobay, who judged last year, hopefully to be a continuing trend. [Our favoured status was no doubt helped by the CB Blog's One Show membership recruitment drive down under last year, when over 60 Aussie/Kiwi creatives signed up.]
Judging will take place at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, Florida from March 25 - April 2, with the winners announced at The One Show on May 9, 2007 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Searle is one of only 25 jurors that will judge all entries (not just a category, as at Cannes, D&AD or Clio) so it is a strenuous week. The following are confirmed on the jury:

Last year The One Show received a record-breaking 17,834 entries from 63 countries. Winners of all three awards programs will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils.
